Abstract Library is the centre for knowledge and it has to be well maintained to nurture generation next people for the better social order. In an educational institution, the library is more responsible and value since the younger generation are to grow from here. The library has to be updated by modern systems and services. These services should reach its users. Study of library users is very much needed to know their requirements and to serve them better. The present article is written based on the study at the institution about the users, their needs and the library services.
