Abstract Emphasizes that information is a vital resource in every sphere of human activity capable of determining and improving the quality of human life. Stresses that an effective agricultural information communication system is very crucial in successful and meaningful diffusion and adoption of agricultural innovations. Highlights the trends in agricultural information communication and adoption of innovative practices. Suggests that an immediate emphasis can be given on exploring possibilities towards effective information communication on agricultural innovations through appropriate media and format to the rural farmers.
