Abstract Apartment house is a building containing more than one dwelling unit, each designed for housekeeping. Most of the apartments have facilities like lift, community hall, parking lots, dish antenna, cable connection, gym, swimming pool, walking space, garden, water and electricity supply, but not library. The apartment builders never consider the provision of library while planning to build apartment. Hence, a study has been organized to collect opinion about the provision of library in the apartments. Hope, this article will bring an awareness about library in the apartments to both builders and residents of apartments.
