Rani Sandhya*, Dr. Kaur Navkiran** *Librarian, e Library, Bal Bhawan, Karnal, Haryana, India **Assistant Professor, DLIS, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, India Abstract The Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected all spheres of life and brought a change in all human activities and education is no exception to it. The closing of all educational institutions and shift to online teaching and learning has led to increase in the use of electronic resources. During this pandemic, it has been realized that awareness and use of e-resources is must for all categories of users. The faculty members and researchers are two important categories of users who are continuously engaged in teaching, learning and research. An attempt is made in the present study to explore the awareness and use of e-resources among faculty members and researchers of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The main objectives of the study are to investigate the awareness and use of e-resources, identify the types of e-resources used, adopted search strategies, level of satisfaction about e-resources and the problems faced by faculty members and researchers while using e-resources. This study is based on primary data collected from faculty members and researchers using a self-designed questionnaire. The study found that all the respondents were aware about e-resource and majority of respondents were using e-resources. Maximum respondents use e-resources for their research work. Majority of respondents said that they use ‘title’ always while accessing e-resources. Only 21% respondents admitted that they faced difficulty in finding relevant information when using e-resources. Most of respondents suggested that workshops/training programmes should be organized frequently for increasing the use of e-resources.
