Abstract
Explains ' What is Internet'. Enumerates the services available on Internet. Describes in brief its tools. Discusses Internet in the LIS preview. Lists the reasons for giving priority for education and training for Internet use. Discusses the aspects that could be included in the curriculum for LIS/ET. Also describes the role of UGC in Curriculum development.
