Information Networks and Proposed Optical Discs Information System for Libraries and Information Centers in Iran

Abstract
The paper discusses the library cooperation with a special reference to resource sharing. Networking of computers, its facilities or components, data communication systems, networking architectures, and protocol standards, hardware and software facilities have also been discussed to some extent. Networking of Optical Discs, types of Optical Discs networks, system requirement, and Optical Disc networking architectures have also been highlighted. Finally, a proposed for networking of Optical disc in Iran has been developed to improve the function of present Optical disc based Information system.
