Abstract Discusses about the new role of Libraries as navigators in the ocean of available information. Results of surveys carried out show that many users use Internet in a public or university Library. Internet has changed the functions of a Library and opened new horizons of networking. Opines that Libraries will continue to play crucial role as gateway to information in future too.
