Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the Directory of Open Access Journals for the period 2003-April 2019: DOAJ. It is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals. The total number of published journals during the period of study was 140. The aim of this study was to analyse different parameters like country wise distribution, language wise distribution, etc. It was found that 32 journals were published as on 2017. The United States of America publishes 25 LIS journals included in DOAJ (17.5%).
