Abstract Multimedia is the integrated collection of text, audio-video animation and graphics to bring the interactive environment. Today's desktop computer is awarded with multimedia software packages. The concept of paperless society is effective with multimedia only. In this article various elements, minimum hardware requirement, software requirement, etc of multimedia have been discussed. Mentions the design, production and distribution of multimedia and importance in today's library i.e. modern paperless.
