Abstract Access to Internet particularly the Web sources has already influenced and changed the way that the scholars and faculty members used to retrieve and disseminate information for their academic work. This study focuses on how the academics evaluate the web sources and what are the opinions of the academics regarding the authority, coverage, currency, permanence, usefulness of web sources.
