Abstract
Prof. M.P Satija is an internationally renowned teacher and author in the field of library and information science field. This research aims to establish an understanding of Prof. M.P Satija's publications and collaboration profiles through the study of his published works. Scientometric analysis techniques were applied on his published works over a period of 37 years (1978–2015). His 487 published works, as of 2015, comprise of 55 books, 175 journal papers, 35 book chapters, 222 other publications (included book reviews and papers presented in other conferences). In the analysis it is found that Prof. M.P Satija fifty percentile age is 48, i.e. the time during which one-half of all his currently active literature was published.
